BOA 119 - Samburu | Tree Hotel | Rift Valley | Amboseli | Ngorongoro | Serengeti | Manyara (11 days)

Day 1: Depart Nairobi at 8:00 a.m and drive North across the equator into Samburu Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch an afternoon game drive is provided at the reserve where all the big game may be seen as well as other species unique to Samburu such as Gerenuk, the distinctively striped Grevy's Zebra, the reticulated Giraffe and numerous species of birds. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or Larsens Luxury Tented Camp. (L) (D)

Day 2: Spend the day exploring this reserve, with three game drives - one before breakfast, another after breakfast and yet another after lunch. Meals and overnight as directly above. (B) (L) (D)

Day 3: After breakfast, depart for Tree Hotel to arrive in time for lunch at your base hotel. After lunch, if staying at the Tree Tops or the Ark, you will be transferred to the lodge. The Tree Hotels are set on high stilts overlooking water holes and salt licks. You can therefore observe the animals drinking at the flood lit water hole or salt lick. Meals and overnight at Tree Tops or the Ark or Mountain Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 4: After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru for lunch. After lunch an afternoon game drive is provided at Nakuru national park, home to some one million flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 5: After an early breakfast, leave for Amboseli Game reserve with a game drive enroute, arriving at Amboseli in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive is provided in this photogenic Park with the Snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. The big five (Leopard, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo and Lion) may be seen here. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Oltukai Lodge or Tortilis Luxury Tented Camp. (B) (L) (D)

Day 6: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Tanzanian border post at Namanga, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha for lunch. After lunch you will be driven to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 7: Full day tour of Ngorongoro Crater with Picnic Lunch. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 8: Morning drive to Serengeti via the Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at Serengeti then afternoon park tour. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena or Serengeti Sopa Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 9: Full day Serengeti tour with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena or Serengeti Sopa Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 10: Depart after breakfast, with a game drive enroute, to Ngorongoro for lunch. Transfer to Manyara in the afternoon for dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. (B) (L) (D)

Day 11: Morning tour of Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. Later transfer to Arusha to take the afternoon shuttle service to Nairobi, to arrive around 6:00 p.m. Please see other available connections at the top of the page. (B) (L)
